In short. If you submit a form or telephone us, your details are used to quote and deliver your project. That is all. We do not sell your data, we do not add you to a mailing list you did not request, and we do not pass it to anyone not directly involved in the work.
Who we are
Khalife Construction (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a residential construction business operating across London. We are the data controller for any personal information you provide through this website, by telephone, by text, via WhatsApp or by email.

What we collect
When you contact us or submit a quotation request, we collect:
- Your name, so we know who we are corresponding with.
- Your telephone number and email address, so we can respond.
- Your postcode or address, so we can confirm coverage and attend the site.
- Details of the work required, including any photographs you send.
This website also collects standard technical information — IP address, browser type and pages visited — through analytics and advertising cookies. See the cookies section below.
Why we use it
- To provide a quotation. This is the primary purpose, and the reason you supplied the details.
- To carry out the work where you proceed — scheduling, ordering materials, and contacting you during the project.
- To meet legal obligations — Gas Safe records, electrical certification, Building Control notifications, and retaining invoices for HMRC.
- To improve the website and understand which pages are useful.
The lawful bases relied upon are legitimate interests (responding to your enquiry), performance of a contract (delivering the work), and legal obligation (safety certification and tax records).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data, rent it, trade it, or supply it to marketing companies. The only parties who see it are those who must in order for the work to proceed:
- Suppliers and merchants, where materials require delivery to your address.
- Building Control, Gas Safe or a certification body, where the work legally requires notification.
- Our accountant, for invoicing and tax records.
- Website and email providers who host this site and process form submissions.
How long we keep it
If you enquire and do not proceed, your details are deleted within 12 months. Where we carry out work, records are retained for 6 years — the period HMRC requires for tax, and which also allows us to identify what was installed should you contact us later. Safety certificates for gas and electrical work are retained for as long as the law requires.
Cookies
This website uses cookies for two purposes:
- Analytics — to understand which pages are visited, so we know what is useful.
- Advertising — if you arrived from a Google advertisement, a cookie allows us to see which adverts lead to enquiries, so budget is not wasted on those that do not.
Cookies can be blocked or deleted through your browser settings at any time. The site will function perfectly well without them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Request what we hold about you, and receive a copy.
- Have it corrected if inaccurate.
- Have it deleted, unless we are legally required to retain it.
- Object to its use, or request that processing be restricted.
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
